Major Website Speed Update

Good news for every user of this website and forums. Our bandwidth package has been upgraded to three times its previous speed. We are now operating on a 30MB dedicated unlimited link.

This will allow for more users to be downloading multiple files at once with greater speed. It is worth mentioning that UNLIMITED members will benefit the most from this as their overall download speed is by very definition, Unlimited and therefore will increase by the biggest percent.

Note :-

Guest User Speed : 64 kb/s
Registered User Speed : 192 kb/s
Unlimited Speed : now potentially over 1000 kb/s :o

BTW, how are people finding the speed increase? WHat is your download speed like now? Can you download many more roms at a time?

Please post your own findings here so that I can have an idea of what the extra spend has brought everyone.

With well over29 MilLION Downloads I think your question goes unanswered because it seems that you have satisfied customers visiting and just getting on with wha they came for to enjoy. " The great selection and variety of games offered on the site :!: :bow2: :bow2: :cheers:

Most games I download are cd images for:
* dreamcast
* pcfx
* saturn

Current download speed at home ~400 kbytes/second. Where is, or are the download server(s) located?
My average download speed in Holland is ~800 kbytes/second.
