The Old Computer Dot Com was founded in 1999 as one of the first retro gaming and computing sites on the internet. It has continued to grow over the years and has a dedicated and enthusatic audience. Proof of this can be found in the number of users who regularly make a donation to say thanks. More recently in Nov 2007 a campaign was started to update good content and information on a daily basis in order to increase the traffic levels of the domain and turn it into a viable site for advertisers. This campaign continues to this day with obvious good results.

How to Advertise

If you look around this purposly made DEMO advert page, you will see six different areas to rent for advertising. Four Skyscraper adverts, two left, two right and two Banner adverts, one at the top and one at the bottom of the page. In every case, these advert slots are shown on ALL website pages.

The best position is the Top Banner not only because of its location, but also because it loads first and is always seen. Next best locations are No1 Left & No1 Right Skyscrapers.

For all adverts, no nudity or adult material is permitted. Animation is allowed as is flash. Adverts will link directly to the company or product being displayed. Payment can be made via PayPal. Other methods of payment can be accepted upon request. Payment must be made in full before advertising will be run. Advertising runs from the first of every month. Advertising material must conform to the guidlines below :-
