Galaxian super speed problem on IOS

I am not sure if anyone else is having this issue. The ROM for Galaxian loads fine, but the game can only be played in what I would describe as super-speed! Galaga etc etc all play fine on my iPad but for some reason this ROM has this issue.

Have tried uninstalling the ROM through iExplore and reinstalling it but the same issue arises. Have lowered the CPU speed, again, no impact.

Any ideas anyone?
