Pure retro porn. A lot of 1541 drives and Vic20 in there as well as some good old atari disks and tape drives. Great stuff, cant wait to see it all in detail.

Keep posting Crusty, and gloat away, you have something to brag about there my friend.

Will be posting more pictures a bit later today by system, I am cleaning the surface dust and crud off everything now as I go before repacking, as some are really dirty. Tying the cords as I go so they are not dragging or loose as well as I go.

Have to go at this system by system, so when I repack it is in some semblance of order, I have only so much room to store and my wife wants her living room back. :)

I have done most of the Tandy, and all the C= drives done, and some of the Amigas, will get pictures and pack them to make room to clean and pack more as I can. :freakout:

Just recieved an email from wilfrid, and may have to take another trip, as he has said he found a few more boxes of computer stuff as he is cleaning the barn out. He is setting them aside as he finds them, and will let me know what is there when he is finished and I can decide if it is worthwhile going to get it. I was really saddened when he told me also that he has a large scrap bin to scrap a lot of the stuff he has not been able to sell.

of course that stuff is worth gettting. you bought and paid for it so you might as well get your money's worth. plus there maybe parts or cords for the stuff that you already have.

Please sir, can we see some starting up for the 1st time, that would be really cool!
Theyre looking really nice.

I unboxed our old 5170 to make some Atari disk's this afternoon.......there was a rather long pregnant pause as the 2nd hardrive eventually came back to life, a bit concerning flipping that big red switch after such a long time

I will post startups as I can, before I plug anything in, I will have to open each item and give the insides a thorough cleaning, and I get goose bumps at the thought of how dirty some of the insides may be considering their outer appearance. Being the lucky dog that I am, I may even find a spider or two. Wanna come and help, Please?

i had a tandy 1000RL at one time. but when i connected a monitor to it a fired it up i found out that the hard disk was so corrupted that the computer was unuseable. :( i never even got to find out what kind of programs were on it. *sigh* man i love "well aged" computers! :) those tandy RLs and RSXs are beautiful though.
