That Nixdorf is a really nice computer to have in the collection. It is properly rare and from memory very well made. Excellent addition. I have a few of those Amstrad PPCs in my store somewhere.

Love it keep em coming. Is there no end to the machines?

The Nixdorf was the last of the luggables, and yes it is very well made and I actually saved taking pics of it, as of all the luggables ,it is my favourite. Just because of the attention to detail it has.

As to the end of the machines, it is nearing the end. Next up are the portables, then some Tandy, then Adam. And last will be that pile of IBM monster desk tops with a few odd ball desktops.

Then comes the glory of the boxed items. Still quite a lot to go. Hopefully finished in about two weeks.

This just gets better and better. The IBM portable in the above picture is a very rare item and one to be cherished. You have made a very serious investment with your haul. I hope your family appreciate just how much this is all worth. If you were to take the time to seperate each item, clean and then put it on ebay, you could make a small fortune. I am serious, what I have seen is worth thousands of dollars at current ebay rates.

I also feel that this collection could not have ended up with a better person. I am as happy for you as I am envious and knowing the season you have been through in the past year I think this is just reward.

Keep the pictures coming, this thread always makes my day. :good:

I myself am in awe everytime I pick up something new to give it a surface clean off. It is just amazing how much is here. And I have the dishpan hands to show for how much cleaning has had to be done. I feel I am a very fortunate person to have been able to get this. :freakout:

Thanks for liking the pictures, appreciate it. :thankyou:
