Log in Issues : Problem Solved (16-09-2011)

i put in my user and pass exactly like i do every day and i get the error

NEWS UPDATE : Important Please Read
Problem with logging into the roms section.

Thank you to everyone for your patience. I have been working on this problem since yesterday and am fully aware that a number of members (not all members) are unable to log into the roms database.

This seems to have been caused by an update to the forums which made some changes (automatically) to the SQL databases that the site runs from. I think it has been caused by the default language settings being incorrect.

I am very aware that this is preventing many people from enjoy the site and I am working as fast as I can to get this issues resolved. Please check back to this topic (which has now been renamed) for further updates.

UPDATE :

I can confirm that this is not effecting everyone. It would appear to be a structure problem and I will update you all again soon.

UPDATE :

The issue should now be resolved. It occurred because the system (after the update) started to also check the case of the username as well as the case of the password. Before the update only the password was case sensitive.

Hopefully everyone should be able to login and work now. Please check and report back so that I can close this thread.
