Postby silent sniper » Sat May 26, 2012 12:24 pm

nope,i mean laser disc "Roms"

mame now support laser disc games such as space ace and dragon lair to name a few,i think since version 0.144 or even a bit early then that.

yeah i know about the Daphne section,i wanna the laser disc games on mame, more emulators on the same game means less worry's a game might not run properly.

Are they contained within the normal CHD set? Do we know the names of them so that I can seperate them into a new folder.

no they are separated from the normal CHD list but some sites group them together which is a bad idea since not everyone want the laser disc and not everyone want the CHD(s).

here is the list

Astron Belt (Sega (Bally/Midway license) 1983) DONE!
Bega's Battle (Data East 1983) Not yet in MAME. Another image.
Casino Strip (Status 1985) Not yet in MAME. Dual monitor game. At least partially in the works.
Cobra Command (Data East 1984) DONE!
COPS (Atari Games 1994) Not yet in MAME. Lamps to indicate number of remaining shots and Alpha Numeric LEDs in the bezel. Video of game in action.
Crime Patrol (American Laser Game 1993) May also have had European bezel art or used Mad Dog McCree bezel. Confirmation needed.
Crime Patrol 2 (American Laser Game 1993) May also have had European bezel art or used Mad Dog McCree bezel. Confirmation needed.
Cube Quest (Simutrek 1984)
Dragon's Lair (Cinematronics 1983) DONE!
Dragon's Lair II (Cinematronics 1991) Dragon's Lair conversion DONE! Not yet in MAME.
Esh's Aurunmilla (Funai 1984) Another photo
Galaxy Ranger (Sega (Bally/Midway license) 1984) Additional pictures
Goal to Go (Stern 1983)
Interstellar Laser Fantasy (Funai 1983) In the works.
Laser Grand Prix (Taito 1983)
Mad Dog McCree (American Laser Games 1990) DONE!
Mad Dog II: The Lost Gold (American Laser Games 1992) May have had European or Japanese bezel art. Confirmation needed. Same as Mad Dog McCree?
M.A.C.H. 3 (Mylstar / Gottlieb 1983) DONE! Cockpit still needed.
NFL Football (Bally/Midway 1983)
Ninja Hayate (Taito 1984) Not yet in MAME.
Quarter Horse (Electro Sport 1982) Not yet in MAME. Dual and single monitor versions made. Another version
Space Ace (Cinematronics 1983) Dragon's Lair conversion DONE! Dedicated version needed. Used LEDs.
Street Viper (Nova 1983) Not yet in MAME. Alpha Numeric LEDs in the bezel and lamps. Were the lamps triggered by gameplay or always on?
Star Rider (Williams 1984) Used molded plastic bezel that made the monitor appear to be 4 monitors. Not yet in MAME.
Super Don Quix-ote (Universal 1984) European version apparently had dedicated bezel art.
Thayer's Quest (RDI Video Systems 1984) DONE![/url]
Time Gal (Taito 1985) Not yet in MAME.
Time Traveler (Sega 1991) Used 3D blocks inside of cabinet to accentuate the "holographic" aspects of the game. Also used LEDs for scoring. Image. Not yet in MAME.
Top Gear (Universal 1984) Not yet in MAME.
Us vs. Them (Gottlieb/Mylstar 1984) DONE!

Thanks for the bump, I had been trying to find them as a complete set on some of the underground sites and have not succeeded as of yet.

Silent,

I know this is old now but the two RAR files you sent me for these games appear to be broken. When I tried to unpack them it failed with a crc. Can you create them for me again? I would love to add them to the daphne roms section.
