I have an ipad with FW 4.3.3

I went to Cydia and installed imame4all 1.10-1 from Big Boss

I then added ihacksrepo and installed the mame rom pack with 312 roms

Rebooted ipad and went to mame4all

It says there are no games/roms

I used iexplorer and connected ipad.....the roms are in the right directory

Any help is much apreciated

I copied the roms into my Sangsung S2 and all works there.....

I wish I could help you, but alas I do not own any apple products... I just have a lowly Zune. Hopefully someone will see your plea for help and get back to you as soon as possible.

Just to confirm, your roms are in the following folder?

/var/mobile/Media/ROMs/iMAME4all/roms

Yes, when I installed the Rom pack from ihacksrepo, it automatically installed it to that directory.

I checked with iexplorer and all the zip files are there.

However, when I go to imame4all on ipad, it says no games are found on the list.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no success.

Is there a problem with the imame4all program from BigBoss?

Can anyone help me?

That's weird. I have not heard of any issues with the downloads from bigboss, and the install is easy. It should work as you've got it set up! Let's hope that someone who has experienced this and solved it will chime in.

I took the plunge and updated to FW 5.0.1 and applied redsnow.

Reinstalled everything and all is good. Thanks for your time

Yea I was gonna say it works fine on 5.0.1... The hard part is find working roms!

Are you using the 0.37b rom set? you should find most of that set will work

If you make sure that the roms you use are for the version of Mame that you have you will be rewarded! Mame is picky like that, and one of THE BEST things about The Old Computer is that the roms are broken down by version. As HT points out the Mame4All emulator in all flavors uses the 0.37b romset, so this is the one you'll want to look for in the roms section.
