Hello, recently there was a problem with the video card from my 386 computer. The trident tvga9000i-1 video card with 512kb of video memory started working in 256kb and monochrome mode. I climbed the entire BIOS, reset it, rearranged the video card, but nothing happened. Despite the fact that everything worked fine before, and when the computer was turned on normally, it started working like this. How can I fix this, because I want a color picture). By the way, the citygate td70an motherboard with a new battery changed.

are you using a memory manager program like EMM386? (i'm assuming that you are using MS-DOS with this setup)
if so, have you made any changes to the CONFIG.SYS file? specifically, have you made any changes to the line in the file that loads the memory manager?

Are the memory chips on the card removable? It is possible that after this many years some of the chips have died.
