EMULATORS : Updates and Changes News

No version will run all the roms out there. Some roms might not be supported by an older version of Mame, or some roms may have changed for some reason from an older version to a new version.

A beautiful thing about theoldcomputer.com is that the Mame roms are broken down by version. Just dl the roms for the version of Mame that you're using and you'll avoid a lot of hassle.

A little news update for the Emulators section. In the same way that te_lanus is the curator of the roms section and does a splendid job of helping me maintain the roms a new member has offered to get involved with the EMulators section and continue to update the sections to recent version and also add new sections.

pmjp is a recent member but already a very active one and I would like to welcome him here and wish him all the very best with the Emulators database. Please now all say your introductions and lets give him a big hello.

Update - MAME 0.145 for Ubuntu, OSX, and Windows has been uploaded
MAMEUI 0.145 has also been uploaded
The SNES section has also been updated

Thats all I done for the moment since my upload speed is not the greatest but I will keep chugging along....
I also plan to upload older releases for archive purposes in the future

I also recommend downloading 7-Zip for all your archival needs

I only updated what was there, but I will add new stuff in the future..like Android and Modern Consoles builds....
SVN, Git, and other WIP versions I haven'd added except for VBA-M which is pretty much SVN builds that was already there

maybe we can have emulators packs?

i don't mind to download some of them,but some systems have ten different emulators and those emulators have ten different version...

my idea is to have each emulator in one pack for all of it's versions.
