thanks for checking HT.that means my problem could be anything, from my modem messing up to a connection error between my PC and skulltags' master server.

WARNING!!! There may possibly be PWADS infected with viruses. this may be what was causing me to not be able to see any skulltag servers. i deleted several PWADS from my .doomseeker folder and now i can see a full list of servers. i don't know which PWAD it was that may have been blocking me because i deleted 5 or 6 of them at the same time, so be careful. as with any online service, there is a certain amout of risk when useing them. but don,t let this message stop you from having fun. just please be careful.

I've never seen this before in my life, and I'm checking the skulltag forums to see if there's any news on it, and guess what, the skulltag forums are STILL DOWN... so it may just be some sort of issue with the skulltag masterserver... I've never heard of PWADS being infected at all, and I've been at this for 10 years now... I'll keep looking into it.

So I found out what has happened to skulltag and as to why it's so hard for people to find servers. Skulltag is finished. The ENTIRE STAFF working on skulltag (except the creator, Carnevil) left Skulltag to form another online multiplayer port called "Zandronum" and it's being built on the latest devbuild (alpha) of Skulltag, 98e.

http://zandronum.com/

I don't know what I'm going to do, because I'm loyal to Skulltag, it's better than EVERYTHING else, but, I have a fix for you needing to get your skulltag working properly. You need to update your skulltag master server address to master.zandronum.com:15300 in either doomseeker or Internet Doom Explorer (IDE)... You need to do it so that you can play online properly. You'll still be able to connect to servers and play as normal... for now. You'll find the MASTERSERVER addresses under Configuration>Engines in DOOMSEEKER and under Options>Master Server Address in IDE. In IDE ONLY change the masterserver address for SKULLTAG. Leave Odamex and Zdaemon alone.

So as of June 3rd, 2012, Skulltag is currently no more.

Oh dear god... what to do... *cries*

(Oh, carnevil's new project is http://www.wrackgame.com/)

i am still able about 60+ skulltag servers. i think that the skulltag master server will remain online for a little while longer because they are still building the new site.
