Hello, I am experiencing an issue with downloading roms using the Android Web browser (I think its called incognito?) on my Android mobile device. I can view all pages but when I download a rom I get a file but the file (no matter which rom) is always about 12 to 13 KB in size and when I try to extract it I get an error message saying there was an error extracting the file. I have tried different combinations of settings on the browser itself like turning pop ups on and off, enabling and disabling cookies, etc. Nothing seems to resolve the issue. I was wondering if anyone else was having the same issue, or if I'm just doing something wrong. Thank you for any advice!

Generally I do not download roms from the website on my android. When you say android browser "incognito" are you referring to a different browser than what came on the phone, or the default android browser...? I'm looking into this as I think I'm one of the only if not the only user here who has an android device.

I recommend you get Opera Mobile or Dolphin Browser and try again or if your android phone is powerful enough get Chrome for Android!

fire fox works. but not very well for the forums.

I tried it with just the basic internet app that came on my phone and I can confirm that it doesn't work. However, it does seem to work with FIrefox for Android and also Chrome for Android. I would suggest downloading either of these browsers from the Play Store simply for downloading ROMs from TheOldComputer.com. Hopefully this helps you out. :3

A TOC app would be awesome but I know not how to make such a thing. Does anyone here want to suggest or offer?

Well, this piqued my interest, so I'm installing things and taking a crack at developing an app. No promises, because most likely I won't actually develop an app. But I'm still gonna give it a shot. :3
