While not a computer... the Jupiter 8 was Roland's first truly professional analog synthesizer.

This one belongs to a friend of mine and his friend decided to restore it, and all it needed was a new long life battery and to download the patches that were lost when the battery died.

Thought you might find this 30 year old technology interesting
