I just found out that I have viruses on my windows partition and Avira AntiVir Home Personal (free) edition failed me now too. AVG was the first to fail me, so now I'm going to buy Zone Alarm Extreme Security for my windows partition and be done with wondering. I only found out because my Zone Alarm FREE BASIC FIREWALL (NO ANTIVIRUS) WARNED ME THAT I WAS INFECTED. How about that? Even the basic free firewall informed me of a security threat that I was unaware of. Naturally I browsed my HDD looking under modified date for viewing organization and naturally found a virus that I was unaware of... so F*CK you Avira... I'm currently DEEP SCANNING my computer looking to see if it finds anything else. >.>

Autoruns - This will show you EVERYTHING running on your PC
ComboFix - DOS level root kit remover, long winded but very through indeed
SUPERAntispyware - the best there is

I heard from one student in my school that if you hit an apple at a certain area ('The sweet spot' she said) and shake it, it will make a jingly sound.
She bruised FIVE APPLES (She must have 'heard' it).
