I'm so use to region codes and [!] but 32x are in, what looks like, parts. If someone could break it down for me I'd be eternally grateful.

(32x) is one of the oddballs of ROM codes. It only refers to Sega Megadrive (Genesis) roms and also Megadrive (Genesis) CD roms. I agree that it should not have been added as part of the 'codes' but it was and it stuck.
