Hi, I've downloaded the file ElectronicPool_v1.0.lha, but it seems this is only the install file for WHD, and I'm serching for the rom. I understand from the Hall of Light site that this file exist as a SPS release. Anyone with a suggestion?
Thanks for your answers! And I got the SPS dll for running ipf files in WinUAE years ago. My search for the romfile of Electronic Pool by Microdeal was without luck it seems. Perhaps I'm getting too old for these fancy sites. Thanks anyway!
What I can suggest is that you get a registered version of WHDLoad and play the WHD version and I recommend FS-UAE which can load WHD files without setting up an AmigaOS enviroment.
I do have a registered version of WHDload. The problem is that the Electronic Pool.lha which I've downloaded, is just the installer where the ROM is missing. the package i's only 38Kb so it can't contain the game.
The FS-UAE is something new to me on the other hand. Can it really load WHD files without using a HD setup? I've looked for such a feature in WinUAE for some time now, so that is good news. Thank you kindly for the help.
FS-UAE is designed to play games with little or no setup. As long you got your key file and a proper WHD file, it should do the rest for you automatically. All the info you need to setup is on the website, but if you are stuck let me know...
Sorry to bother you again Mr Alzabo When mounting the electronic pool.lha file to the HD fileselector in FS-UAE, it starts to run in a CLI window, then the message "Unknown Command runme.exe" appears. This also happens for the file AxelsMagicHammer_v1.1_0432.zip - which oughta work properly. Something missing in the WHDload compartment I guess. I've installed the WHDLoad.key file inside the main directory of FS.
Our WHDLoad section seem to be compressed in LHA and then recompressed into ZIP files...FS-UAE was trying to read but couldn't get past the LHA compression...
What you need to do is extract the LHA and recompress them as a zip and they should work in FS-UAE
