I ban you for being overly dramatic. Your life isn't "crumbling..." I just got done finding out why I was having disk errors when booting my lappy here... turns out it was trying to boot from USB Flash Drive before my Internal HDD and it was causing a conflict when it didn't find an OS on the Flash Drive... so I switched by boot order to make the HDD BEFORE the USB Flash Drive... and viola, disaster averted... (yea, that was random... :p)
