lot of hard work goes into the making of this website
and its associated pages, so it's good to receive
a little recognitition for the effort. Below you
will find a list of industry awards that The Old
Computer Dot Com has received over the years.

Awards
The
2001 ICWhen EYE Site Award was presented in
January 2001 and is only awarded to retro computing
and gaming sites that maintain a standard of
content. ICWhen is no longer running.
Received
the Critical Mass Award for interesting content
and best kept site in Febuary 2001. Unfortunatly critical mass is no longer running.
The
covited Golden Web Award was presented to me
in April 2002 with a score of 26/30. I am currently
also seeking the Platinum Web Award.
Our
first Diamond Web Award Level 1 was received
in June 2002 and was voted for by you the
viewing public.
Level
2 (over 500 votes) was reached in August 2002.
Level 3 (over 2500 votes) was reached in October
2002.
In
2003 we dominated our section in the awards
from the off and by the end of 2003 had won
the diamond web award for the year at level
5.
Once
again, many many thanks to everyone who voted..
I
love this award just for its picture. Presented
to TOC in November 2002 it is for best Retro
Website. I am most proud of this.... (:o)
We
were nominated in 2004 for the World Best website.
in
2004 we won the covited Golden Web Awards for
best retro gaming site.
